History[]

The Knights franchise were among the original 12 that started in 2010. In their first two seasons the team was owned by Adam Essex. In those two seasons they team played their games in Columbus, Ohio and were known as the Blazing Crusade and Blazers, respectively. The team was sold to Michael Burmeister before the 2011 season and the team was moved to Puerto Rico. They would be known as the Coquis for three seasons there. During the 2014 season, though, Burmeister would sell the team to current owner Scott Murphy. Murphy would then move the team to New York, New York and change their name to the Knights.
