Jeremiah McCray is a former American football quarterback and coach in the Continental Football Association. McCray quarterbacked for the Bryn Mawr United and Pennsylvania Sentinels from 2010 to 2012. In 2014, McCray was named the head coach of the newly established Birmingham Bulls franchise, McCray served as the head coach of the Bulls from 2014 to 2018, McCray was relieved of his head coaching duties when the Bulls changed ownership after week 9 of the 2018 season, McCray had a combined coaching record of 14-59.
Playing Career[]
McCray played collegiate quarterback at Toledo for four seasons, starting his junior and senior years.
During the first annual CFA draft, McCray was selected 3rd in the 18th round by the Bryn Mawr United. He spent majority of his time on the practice squad during his first two years, appearing in only one game, in which he threw for 18 yards and a touchdown on two of four attempts. McCray's first ever pass was a five yard touchdown toss to Ferdinand Ferarri.
McCray would spend his entire second season on the practice squad.
In his third and final season the Bryn Mawr United changed hands and became the Pennsylvania Sentinels. McCray was listed as the third string quarterback and was brought to every game, he never saw the field as he served more as a second offensive coordinator for the team. McCray would unofficially retire at the end of the season.
In 2014, McCray offically retired.

Coaching Career []
McCray was hired as the first head coach in the newly established Birmingham Bulls in 2014, making a splash by dealing 14 trades.
The Bulls were never able to find an identity through out McCray's tenure, they finished nearly last in rankings on both sides of the ball year after year despite having some of the CFA's better talent. []
Bulls fans often bought out billboards across town calling then Bulls owner, Brain Duper, to fire McCray. After nearly five seasons, McCray was relieved of his duties as head coach of the Birmingham Bulls after ownership changed hands. McCray would finish with a record of 14-59.
One sole shining spot during McCray's tenure was drafting LB Kenneth Beck, who has recorded two Pro Bowl appearances and four straight 100+ tackle seasons.
